Flash files are basically known as “Flash movies”. The file extentions is “*.fla” - Stage:
The work area in a flash document is known as Stage. - Library:
Everything in a flash movie is stored in library. The flash library can be either external or internal itself. - Publishing:
The process of exporting the flash movie files into different file formats is known as “publishing”. “swf” files are created using this process. - Timeline:
The keyframes in a flash movie are located in “timeline”. The timeline is used to manage the lenght and flow of the flash movies. - Actions:
The flash scripting language is known as flash Action Script. Action script is used to achive specific results in a flash movie. - Tweening:
This is an animation method used in Flash. - Scenes:
Secenes are similar to the scenes in a play or a drama. A single flash movie can contain multiple scenes and they can be played back in expected order and even with help of Action Script. - Components:
The bult-in library of articles which can be made use in flash movies. Advanced tools are also available in the components window. - Symbol:
It can be said as a media asset which can be used in the flash movie anywhere. It can be used multiple times. There are 3 types of symbols: Movie clip, button and graphic.
